2010 Winter Jewelry Trends: Alexander McQueen Skull Drop Earrings!

So can we talk about this London born designer a little bit?  Alexander McQueen is always the one that is making waves in every single thing that he touches but I had absolutely no idea that this particular clothing and off-the-wall shoe designer actually dipped his talents into the wonderful world of jewelry!

Well – now I do and this guy has knocked me flat on my back with these skull-drop earrings.  Personally, while I know that Halloween is over, I think that these chic little pieces of jewelry are absolutely breathtaking and I believe that every single person should get some!

Alexander McQueen is the Queen of jewelry right now and if he can blow me away with just a pair of earrings and I don’t even have my ears pierced – just wait to see what he has in store later!

2010 Winter Jewelry Trends: Ralph Lauren Alhambra Three Row Multi Bead Necklace!

Oh ladies and gentlemen, it has been quite a while hasn’t it?  Well – I have been on leave but I am back now and I am ever-so-ready to show you some of the best jewelry out there for the wintertime!  Take this necklace – oh, I have to tell you that I am in love with this particular Ralph Lauren necklace.

2010 Jewelry | Fall Jewelry Pieces!

When you think about it – fall is all about subtle colors and little takes and that is what Asha by ADM is actually doing with her Multi-Stone Goddess Earrings.  These particular earrings are unique, classic and absolutely timeless.  They are modern and will absolutely completely any ensemble that you can come up with.

When you look at it – really look at it, the snakeskin in this particular bracelet is very apparent.  This is a piece of jewelry done up by the Italian born designer Roberto Cavalli.  Roberto Cavalli is actually known for his very high-end designs and his jewelry has been worn by all sorts of different celebrities, including Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez and finally the beautiful Sarah Jessica Parker.

I think that the greatest thing about this particular snake bracelet is actually unique – different and totally fun to wear.  Roberto Cavalli actually incorporates many different intricate details into this particular bracelet and the yellow along with white really makes this design pop out.

Versace Jewelry — Sparkly, Sizzling … Hot!

If you are a fashionable person … which we all are right?  Then you know all about Versace.  Versace is a brand that is edgy, classic and all around beautiful and that is exactly what comes across in their jewelry.  While I really did not know that Versace dipped their talents into jewelry too until this year, I thought I would show you one of their beautiful pieces!

This ring – topaz and while I am not the biggest fan of topaz rings, I have to say that the combination of white gold, diamonds and topaz is very, very beautiful.  Topaz is a fantastic ocean blue color that I seemed to have fallen in love with and if you look close – the perfectly cut V’s encased in diamonds really makes this Versace ring pop!

When I look at jewelry, I want it to tell me a story and to me, that is exactly what Claudia Lobao does with her jewelry pieces.  While she might have started out beading, she has definitely switched up her style and within two years, her pieces were the staple on Desperate Housewives and now – well, now she has been featured in everything from InStyle all the way to Accessories and Star!

Now that we have talked a little bit about vintage jewelry, I thought I would give you an example of what I am talking about.  These little earrings are something that are so chic and so vintage, it truly is crazy. 

Pearls are something that are always beautiful, always in fashion and can always spice up your look whenever you are trying to achieve something beautiful.  Tassel earrings, just like these ones are absolutely incredible and very rare to find.

There are some pieces of jewelry that are just absolutely timeless – to be honest, I think that these vintage pieces are more valuable than most of the diamonds in the world and that is saying something!  Vintage jewelry is something that is so precious, so incredible and so perfect that honestly, I think that people should invest in it more often.

Way back when – jewelry was something that people took pride in wearing and while that is still true in today’s world, I think that that the vintage jewelry age is something beautiful and people were not wearing jewelry for fashion, but rather to show the pieces themselves off.  Jewelry was something to be appreciated, not just another accessory to put on.

Although vintage jewelry is hard to find, once you do find it – it is something beautiful and lovely and something to be cherished!

Let’s say that you are shopping for a ring – you find the perfect, one of a kind, beautiful, breathtaking ring that you want to buy … however, it does not fit.  No matter how hard you try to get it to slide down your finger, it won’t.  While you might want it, there is absolutely no way that it is going to fit on your finger and that is sad … right?  Not anymore!

Are you looking for a little luck?  Well, Janet Deleuse is the designer for you.  Now, to me – this sort of looks like a five leaf clover, which I know is not the ‘lucky’ charm, however I think that this necklace looks pretty damn lucky.  Not only is it done up in 18k yellow, rose and white gold, but it also has some blue in there, also some yellow and pink sapphires and to be honest … it looks breathtakingly beautiful!

This necklace, by Janet Deleuse is about 19 inches long, which is a fantastic length for a necklace in my mind and it has about 4.26 carats of sapphires in there.  The price tag on this beautiful is $20,260.00 … that’s a lot of money but it is so, so worth it!
