What did a few of our famous and heart stopping stars wear to the BAFTA?
Kristen Stewart kept her jewelry subtle, understated and simple. She just had on a diamond bracelet, a ring and diamond studs. Anna Kendrick on the other hand opted for the most beautiful long drop earrings and then, she needed no other jewelry to spike up her bright yellow outfit.
Kate Winslet on the other hand wore the most beautiful of Tiffany diamonds and black jade earrings that offset her black attire to perfection. This offset her peaches and cream complexion in the most beautiful way.
Vanessa Redgrave looked chic and elegant. She opted to wear drop earrings and multiple strands of pearls that gave her the classic and extremely sophisticated look. On the strands of pearls was an intricate, filigreed diamond pendant. She certainly proved that diamonds are a woman’s best friend. Also, that pearls and diamonds can certainly be paired up together to give the most fabulous of effects.
A diamond pendant that will take your breath away is the one that Gabriella Sidibe wore. It was the most beautifully and intricately designed asymmetrical diamond pendant. The design was one of a kind and it was strung on a thin matching chain. The tapering design of twirls and inspired by floral and leaf designs had people gape at it in wonderment. This was one wonderful jewelry piece for certain.

Jealousy Inspiring Jewelry
Want to transition your looks and add the right dash of color to your wardrobe. Then you needn’t look any further than adding the right jewelry pieces to your wardrobe.
The right kind of jewelry, need not only be the expensive kind, can add the right explosion of color and can set off the best of neutral color outfits. An easy and most magnificent way, to set off an outfit, and transform it with the right panache from morning to evening wear!
Here are the four picks to do so:
- Layered beads necklaces. Pick beads of different colors and hues and string them together in the best of tropical colors. Layer them from the smallest to the largest in strands and watch your neck come alive.
- Tribal and eco-friendly jewelry. Look at the jewelry that is made from environmentally friendly materials and you will have the right pieces and yet be helping the earth go green. This trend is going to be big throughout 2010. Try your hand at East Indian, Native American, Mayan or African jewelry and you will love the wonderful newness that it breathes into your wardrobe.
- Mix the most unusual and brightest of colors to get the jewelry that will make a white dress or blouse come alive. Team it with a little bit of silver or gold and you can add the right dash of festive celebration to it. Greens and blues make the most eye catching combination. There are several others that can do so too. Let your imagination run wild.

- Bring in the bounty of nature to your jewelry. How about flowers, butterflies and other things related with nature and gardens made into jewelry icons. This is the most trendy and innovative of jewelry trends that you could have.

Bring back the Dazzle in your life
With recession and winter far behind us, this is certainly the right time for us to bring out the dazzle and the bling to our dressing. What better way to do this then to add the right amounts of glitter and shimmer to our wardrobe by way of jewelry.
Here are the ways you can do just that and more:
- A cocktail ring can be that one fashion statement that will instantly draw the eye balls in your direction. This is one piece of jewelry that will get you the attention that you require and yet it will have the right amount of class and chic associated with it. try on cocktail rings with a gemstone in the center, studded with diamonds around it and in silver or white gold. A cocktail ring will almost look like a signet ring if worn right. The mantra for a cocktail ring is always bigger is better. In that case, do not wear any other piece of jewelry with it as it will then become too much.

- Silver hoops or earrings: silver can add the right amounts of the most subtle kind of bling to your wear. It will allow you to carry with you the old-world charm and yet remain in contemporary fashionable trends. Silver hoops at your ears can be the most wonderful way to enhance and accessorize your looks and attire in the best possible way.
- A statement chunky necklace: there can be nothing more attention drawing than the most fantastic of necklaces at your neck. This could be one expensive piece that might be an heirloom or a piece that you picked up with the right kind of rich textures and shades to it. The statement necklace can have gems for the added dazzle.

Color Carnival Collage
Every changing season throws up a new color palette for the things that you wear including jewelry. What better color for Spring and Summer 2010 then the color that is inspired by the blazing sun in the sky.
The color carnival collage that we forecast will be seen out on the streets, on the runways and at any major do are going to be anything that is inspired by yellow. This could start off from the lowest range of the yellow spectrum and include neutrals, beiges and creams and go on to include the feistiest of oranges and reds with the right tinges of yellows to it.
All the colors that will be showcased and worn in the jewelry segment will cool your skin but certainly go on to heat up the way you look. There is bound to be an explosive mix of colors this season. It could be a white dress to ward off the sunlight and enough of color in your jewelry to keep the white from looking too washed out. You will certainly love this kind of combination wherein you needn’t feel the heat by wearing too many strong colors on your attire but at the same time add on the right amounts of color by way of your jewelry.
Now, if your heart is the kind that desires gemstones then you can have the most refreshing of yellow gemstones in your jewelry in the form of topaz, amber, citrine and cubic zircons that will put any citrus colors to shame. The yellow in your jewelry will bring to light the yellow of lemons, the yellow of a canary, and the yellow of see-through beads.
The best thing about this kind of fashion jewelry wardrobe is that you can team it up with anything in your closet and make a style statement.
