Color Carnival Collage

Every changing season throws up a new color palette for the things that you wear including jewelry. What better color for Spring and Summer 2010 then the color that is inspired by the blazing sun in the sky.

The color carnival collage that we forecast will be seen out on the streets, on the runways and at any major do are going to be anything that is inspired by yellow. This could start off from the lowest range of the yellow spectrum and include neutrals, beiges and creams and go on to include the feistiest of oranges and reds with the right tinges of yellows to it.

All the colors that will be showcased and worn in the jewelry segment will cool your skin but certainly go on to heat up the way you look. There is bound to be an explosive mix of colors this season. It could be a white dress to ward off the sunlight and enough of color in your jewelry to keep the white from looking too washed out. You will certainly love this kind of combination wherein you needn’t feel the heat by wearing too many strong colors on your attire but at the same time add on the right amounts of color by way of your jewelry.

Now, if your heart is the kind that desires gemstones then you can have the most refreshing of yellow gemstones in your jewelry in the form of topaz, amber, citrine and cubic zircons that will put any citrus colors to shame. The yellow in your jewelry will bring to light the yellow of lemons, the yellow of a canary, and the yellow of see-through beads.

The best thing about this kind of fashion jewelry wardrobe is that you can team it up with anything in your closet and make a style statement.

If you are a fashionable person … which we all are right?  Then you know all about Versace.  Versace is a brand that is edgy, classic and all around beautiful and that is exactly what comes across in their jewelry.  While I really did not know that Versace dipped their talents into jewelry too until this year, I thought I would show you one of their beautiful pieces!

This ring – topaz and while I am not the biggest fan of topaz rings, I have to say that the combination of white gold, diamonds and topaz is very, very beautiful.  Topaz is a fantastic ocean blue color that I seemed to have fallen in love with and if you look close – the perfectly cut V’s encased in diamonds really makes this Versace ring pop!

When I think about jewelry, fashion is what comes to mind – now, I am a little bit of a rebel and to be honest, Juicy Couture is the type of style that I fit right into.  Take this Juicy Couture tiger’s eye ring that I found.  Now, I personally love jewelry that has a little bit of a mystery about it and that is definitely something different than what it appears to be and that is what this beautiful ring is all about!

This ring is actually centered with a brownish tiger’s eye stone and it has antiqued gold plating with some of the most intricate designs carved into the sides.  The leaves, swirls and droplets are absolutely beautiful and if you look close enough – there is a hinged locket that actually flips open so you can store some small things right inside!

Rebel Designs Cocktail Ring: It’s Chic!

Cocktail rings are something that seems to be going out of style – until Rebel Designs started coming up with them that is.  Rebel Designs is actually a New York based accessories company and they feature everything from belts and wallets all the way to handbags and finally some beautiful jewelry!  Gina Reily is the designer behind Rebel Designs about ten years and she wanted to provide people with a style and sophistication without the price tag.

This mushroom cocktail ring is absolutely exquisite yet bold and it will fit perfectly with your little black dress or even just a pair of jeans.  The silver ring is actually centered with a circular onyx stone that is surrounded by three different rows of jet black crystals.  The can come in other colors, however, I think this one is the most beautiful.

Gorjana Reidel Is A Designer To Watch Out For!

If there is one thing that I know, it is going to be jewelry.  For example, have you guys seen the latest from Gorjana Reidel?  This chick is going places, first she was creative in the knitting field and now, she is creative in the jewelry world.  Now, you might not realize it, but this girly makes all of her own jewelry and she makes it to reflect her own lifestyle and personality.  That is exactly why I love her – she has not switched gears since she became popular either, which is unheard of for most designers.

Black Diamond Rings: They Are Ever-So-Popular!

If there is one jewelry trend that I have noticed this summer just grow and grow, it is going to be the black diamond ring.  To be honest, I have always thought that the black diamond is something that is absolutely beautiful to look at and something that is so different and so unique; it really does take a special person to wear a black diamonds.  What you might not know about this beautiful stones is that they are all natural diamonds that have been treated.

Sparkling Citrine Rings: They Are Gettin’ Popular!

Now, I know that we have talked a lot about rings in this particular blog, but there is one ring that I wanted to touch on specifically and it is the Citrine ring.  While most people think that this color is something less-than-desirable, there is something that you should know about this hue.  Firstly, while bright, this particular color is actually not all that bright when you pair it with your skin tone.  So while it might seem bright in the picture, it isn’t as bad as it looks.

Steven Kretchmer: This Ring Rocks!

One thing that I absolutely love about Steven Kretchmer is the fact that this designer is the fact that he has been making jewelry since about 1969. That means that his experience is incredible and that his jewelry collections are not only extremely detailed, but they are absolutely beautiful all of the time. This guy has travelled all the way to Italy to learn all about goldsmithing and just how to mold and bend metals to his will.

Let’s Talk Van Cleef & Arpels: They Are One Hell Of A Designer!

Let’s talk a little bit about Van Cleef & Arpels.  Now personally, I never knew about this designer until I was reading up on some designer jewelry, but I have to say that this piece is absolutely one of my favorites!  Not only does it look incredible, but it is definitely one of the best pieces in the world!  The diamonds are brilliant looking and Keira Knightley was actually seen wearing this particular ring.
